About our Founder

Mr.
Burbank founded BuySellBiz initially as his brokerage company's
website. He and his associates together sold more than two
thousand businesses before he sold that company in 2001. Ted
now devotes his time to supporting a nationwide network of Business
Brokers and Intermediaries that follow his "Business and Franchise
Selling Systems". He is the author of eight books and five
software programs relating to Finding, Investigating, Valuing,
Financing, Buying, and Selling a Private business.

pioneer in the practice of business sales and valuation, Ted is
recognized nationally as an authority on the subjects. His
latest work, "Are You Creating Wealth or Just Making Money?"
is a combination book and software program devoted to Wealth Building
Exit Strategies that are especially appropriate for owners of small
businesses. He has conducted seminars on business sale and
succession issues for trade and professional organizations in this
country, Canada and abroad. Ted is available speaking
engagements, workshops and consultation.
